Frequently, I return to painting classic still life from nature, like gardens & flowers.

I use different styles, because I think, experiments are good for development. 

Why flowers? - Flowers are a luxury for many and a MUST for others - like me!

The beauty of flowers brings joy to us and a painting with flowers gives harmony and a pleasant atmosphere to any room. 

Repeating the colours from the painting in room-decoration ensure a good result in our homes.

It´s near to the shortest day

and the daylight-hours are very short in Scandinavia.

No wonder, we are dreaming of spring, 

light and bright colours

and it brings joy to work with these spring-themes.

THEME JUNGLE

I enjoy painting with other shades of colors than usually. 

It´s a pleasure "to go green".

Usually, my palette contains bluish colors but in Theme Jungle it´s more fruity.

Theme Jungle is a fantasy from the Southern Hemisphere with hot temperature, vibrance  and shades in colors. Living in Scandinavia, you are very influenced by cool shades of blue and grey, so the warm shades of the South make a welcome change for artists.

Autumn in Denmark

After a perfect summer the weather in Scandinavia is now turning into autumn and the colors are changing too. I am preparing for an exhibition in the area of Limfjorden - a beautiful part of North Jutland. Here is my version in a helicopter-perspective:

LATE NIGHT - LAST BUS ...

After a break I took up painting again and here is the result:

I used Heavy Acrylics on Canvas, few colours of Phatalo Blue (red shade),Cromium yellow (light shade) and just a few spots of orange and light blue.

As underpainting I often use a thin violet, still visible at some places in the foreground and the horizont.

I hope, you can feel the the stillness in the city by night: No trafic, just a few late walkers.

has kindly accepted two of my paintings on the High Solution Screen on the 2nd floor, showing work of different artists from oct. 2013 for an indefinite period.

The Arctic - Greenland
