Poul Anker Bech (1942-2009)
A modern painter, who represented a renewal of the surrealist tradition in Denmark.
His techniques were outstanding. Unfortunately, he passed away too early, but his work obtained great appreciation in his last years.
In his paintings I find sadness, a great sense of humour and understanding of modern life. To me, he is expressing the conflicts between CIVILIZATION vs. NATURE – one of my favorite themes for my own paintings. For more paintings visit this link http://www.poulankerbech.dk
