I'm fascinated by the special nature and the difficult
living-conditions in the Arctic area.
This painting shows the sea packed
with iceblocks, which is making
living in this area so difficult.
Just imagine life for the
villagers in the small hamlet
faraway.

During the lockdown,
it's still possible to take a walk
along the endless beaches in Denmark.
Looking at
the boats, the surfers, the birds,
feeling the wind blowing your hair away.
Relax and enjoy nature.
I used acrylics
with some spots of oils for highlights
on a sanded canvas to get the effect
of a rough beach.
